Office of Recovery Services

The ORS phone system has been experiencing some technical difficulties recently.  As a result call times have been lengthier than we would like.  DTS technical staff are working on the issues and hope to have them resolved soon.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and request clients utilize the ORS website for case information as an alternative.  You may register for online access to your case at the following website:  http://orsica.dhs.utah.gov.  You may also contact us through the links on the Contact Us page.

ORS' primary mission is to promote responsibility.

We help ensure that parents are financially responsible for their children by providing child support services and support for children in care. We also work to help ensure public funds are used appropriately through the efforts of our Bureau of Medical Collections.

What's New

Announcing:  New ORS phone customer service system—ACCESS (Automated Case and Customer Service System)

ACCESS is the new ORS customer service telephone system.  Using the latest in speech-recognition technology, ACCESS allows customers to “access” more information about their cases and about ORS procedures by phone than ever before.

As of October, 2009, ORS will begin a pilot project for the new ACCESS telephone system.  All customers with cases being handled in the Richfield and St. George ORS offices will begin using the ACCESS phone system for their case and customer service needs.  Gradually, other offices will be added.  Watch here for more details.
